Tie Luo Han is one of the oldest varieties of Wuyi Rock tea and carries the strength and warmth of its legendary name, Iron Arhat.  The 2025 harvest was grown in the Shui Lian Dong area of Wuyi National Park, where misted cliffs and mineral-rich stone impart the distinctive Yan Yun, otherwise known as the “rock rhyme” so prized in these teas. The forty-year-old bushes yield resilient, thick leaves that endure a traditional triple roasting to a balanced medium finish. The result is a tea of depth and quiet power smooth and lightly toasty, with a lingering mineral sweetness that speaks of mountain air and ancient stone. Rich with spiced wood and touched by a gentle trace of charcoal, on the palate the tea reveals its generosity: full-bodied, balanced, and layered with woody spice.
