No. 174, Old Tree Smoked Lapsang

Created with a light hand, this elegant smoked black tea releases soft, smoldering notes of peat, reminiscent of a fine, aged scotch. It calls to mind oak-lined libraries and the faint, comforting trace of pipe tobacco in the air. Sophisticated and poetic, this gentle pine–smoked tea invites a long weekend of rain, a comfortable chair, and the rare luxury of unhurried time. Smoked Wuyi Lapsang is sourced from a small family garden in the Wu Yi mountains of Fujian. Old Tree Lapsang is harvested from trees at least 120 years old and crafted in a wooden smoke house known as a yan lou.  This tea is purchased in small quantities and is a limited edition selection.  Brew Smoked Wuyi Lapsang multiple times to experience the full expression of the leaves.
