It's known for its bounty of seashells which is a result of the island's location and its east-west orientation. It sits on a large plateau that extends west into the Gulf of Mexico for several miles, creating a shelf for the shells to collect on and eventually wash onto the shore. Construction: This piece comes ready to hang, pre-framed in a custom, solid-wood frame.
