Luxurious, Durable, Wearable Art. Each leather belt we make is entirely hand-crafted by a professional artisan right from our Belt & Band Atelier Leather Studio in Wellington, Cape Town. These 38mm width belts are perfectly suitable for any occasion and will easily pass through any pair of denim jeans or trousers. We use age-old, artisanal leatherwork techniques using traditional hand tools. The leather keeper-loop is sewn in securely together with the solid-brass roller-buckle (with low lead content), using the saddle stitch technique. We have sourced the finest and strongest waxed-hand-sewing threads from all over the world. Lastly we finish the belt by applying a high quality leather balsam that includes natural oils and beeswax which naturally seals the leather, rendering it flexible and enhancing the colour and texture.
