1980s Marquis Shaped Insert Diamond and Ruby Yellow Gold Ring

This remarkable 1980s marquise-shaped ring comes as a two-part set. The inner band is made of 14K yellow gold with an oval cabochon ruby at its center, flanked by 3 round-cut diamonds on both sides. The larger marquise-shaped outer piece, in which the band inserts, is made of 18K yellow gold and features 8 additional round-cut rubies. The rubies total 1 carat and the 14-round cut diamonds total 1 carat as well.  4.5 grams Size 7
