CHRISTMAS ANGEL BELLS The 3 Angel Bells represent the Evening Bells: A call to prayer with the Angels. A church bell is rung to signify the time worshippers have to stop and pray. In many Catholic churches, the ringing of the church bell for the Angelus prayer, the morning, midday, and evening. This is the Angelus bell. It is still a common way for all the faithful to stop their busy lives for a moment to say a prayer and remember the thought of Isaiah: “Be still and know that I am God.” The Angel holding the dove is a symbol of peace, purity, and the Holy Spirit. The Angel holding the hymnal represents the act of praising God with song. The Angel praying symbolizes a Guardian Angel and she is asking God to protect and guide.
