MY JEWELRY STORY In 2009, I was living in China and working for the Shanghai Expo 2010 as the Director of VIP Relations.   China is known for pearls and their exciting pearl markets.  Early on I had visited a few markets and found some interesting pieces but it wasn't until the Expo ended and I had the time to return to the markets and truly explore the beauty of pearls.   My love of all things pearl started out with seeing so many different pieces, shapes and sizes and being able to create some ideas and send them to my friends and family, 'look what I made'.  Everyone also wanted what I designed and made.  So I kept going back to the markets, and hooked up a long-lasting friendship with Lina at one of the markets.   One day I discovere
