SAVANNAH BEE COMPANY - BLACK SAGE HONEY

Earthy with notes of fruit and pepper, Black Sage Honey is a rare and exceptional treat harvested only four seasons per decade. Conditions must be exactly right in California’s lower Sierra Nevada mountains for these wild desert plants to produce enough blooms for the bees to make their magic.   Also known as salvia mellifera, black sage is native to California and the Baja region of Mexico.   Earthy with notes of fruit and black pepper.  USA and Mexico Founder’s Notes - Ted Dennard “For as long as I can remember I’ve had a connection to bees.
