A true self portrait, two actually, created in the absent space of the object. A small vase, in mirror polished solid surgical steel, intended to hold a single flower. The shape created in the absence, or negative space, of the vase is the profile of my face. This creates the optical illusion of myself staring across into an identical but mirrored profile of myself.
