Mercian Classic

This Mercian Classic is a high end, do-it-all kind of rig. Function meets form in an elegant and timeless manner. The frame is made using Reynolds 531 tubing and is fitted with a mixture of some of the best components of the time. The NGC450 brakes are simply stunning with the matching brake levers. It has Suntour Cyclone front and rear derailleurs, Campagnolo crankset, Cinelli cockpit, and Blackburn rack. It's currently running a knobby 32, but it looks like you could squeeze in just a slightly larger, smooth tire if you're keen.  It's in great overall condition, but shows sign of use. The 531 stickers have been replaced but the paint and other decals are all original. When you remove the Suntour friction shifters, theres a small impression in the frame from them being over-tightened. No dents, bends, or cracks. Frame is solid!
