Turkey Butchery Workshop | November 23rd

  Turkey Processing Workshop Location | Berkeley Farm, 95 Ridge Drive Greenbrier Date | Sunday, November 23rd  2 people can attend with the purchase of one ticket.  Each ticket includes one turkey to butcher and take home. Join us for a unique, informative, and fully hands on experience with Gray Acres Farm!  This interactive course is for the beginner and experienced alike and our desire is that you will walk away with the pride, knowledge and confidence to use your newly acquired skillset to provide for your own family for many years to come.  The class will begin with proper dispatching, scalding, plucking, and eviscerating techniques.  Once confident with technique, participants will work through the process in a hands-on manner.  Once processed, participants will be taught proper handling/storage techniques for their processed turkeys.   Upon completion of the class, each participant will leave with pride and a full working knowledge of proper turkey processing technique.  Each pa
