Country Italian Spelt Bread

But you would be mistaken! While they are both made with our Unbleached White Spelt Flour, the similarities end there!  This small loaf of white spelt bread is made with a poolish - a technique that helps produce a uniquely flavored and moist loaf of bread. One look at a single slice of this bread and you will immediately understand what we're talking about!  Its slices are dense - with an incredible flavor and unmistakable texture. It's this texture that allows it to toast thoroughly and evenly. This is one of our only sliced breads made with Organic Cane Sugar which certainly makes its flavor stand out!  Also - don't be surprised if you see a few holes in this bread.
