Zen Lotus Teapot

This is a handmade teapot from Jingdezhen, and there are several reasons why I am drawn to it. The kiln-transformed glaze has a captivating effect, perfectly complementing the teapot's elegant design. The short spout and ball-shaped built-in filter allow tea to pour swiftly, ensuring a smooth experience every time. The lotus petal carvings, combined with the texture of the glaze, evoke a deep sense of Zen. The optimal body thickness makes it easy to handle, making it suitable for brewing all types of tea, from Pu'er to white tea, and rock tea, all of which release their aromas beautifully. With a capacity of 100ml, it’s perfect for sharing tea with a few close friends.
