Some girls are girly girls, and some are a little bit tomboy, but everybody loves 'Mary Apple Dumplin' rag dolls, our popular folk art dolls with a little bit of pretty and a whole lot of spunk! Several years ago, we found a company that was not really a full blown doll manufacturer, they mostly made 'Americana' home decor and gifts, especially old fashioned porcelain tea sets for children's doll play.  But they also make a line of Classic 'folk art' rag dolls they called 'Apple Dumpling Dolls' - with embroidered smiles, yarn pigtails and beautifully detailed outfits.
