Original Japanese Sterling Silver Sailing Yacht With Gold Gilding

This original sterling silver sculpture is in excellent condition and features a Treasure ship. These were made by Takehiko. The ship is made from Sterling silver. Seki Takehiko was born 1908 in Chiba Prefecture. There is a plaque added to this as a 'Gift Fukuoka Country Club' with a date in May. These grand ships were often used and reused as prizes and gifts throughout Japan. The case measures approximately 8 inches high by 7 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The statue ship itself measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches wide (approximately).
