Soul Jazz Records are releasing a new 12 of this huge 1981 disco/jazz-funk dance-floor bomb that has been out of print for over 40 years since it's original release! Few records crossed over into different musical worlds as successfully as the Funk Masters' sublime UK disco/jazz-funk monster classic cut 'Love Money'. A monster underground hit in New York - everywhere from Larry Levan's Paradise Garage and David Mancuso's Loft in New York - through to the new wave/no wave dance crowds at Area, Club 57, Danceteria, Limelight and Mudd Club, and artists such as Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat who similarly played the track to death.
