Sourced from Southeast Asia, around Indonesia, these durable leaves release a moderate amount of brown tannins and biofilms, perfect for supporting ecological processes in both aquatic and semi-aquatic habitats.  The Terentang Leaf's structure and compounds make them ideal for blackwater aquariums housing Bettas, Gourami, and Parosphromenus, where these fish thrive in low pH, tinted water, and benefit from botanicals that encourage their natural foraging and sheltering behaviors.
