Young, Neil - Live Rust - White Hot Stamper
*NOTE: There is a yellow spot / defect that plays as 6 light thuds about 1/2" into the last track on side 1, "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)." Neil Young and Crazy Horse are really tearing it up here, and on a copy like this, the sound is amazingly real. These vintage pressings have the kind of Tubey Magical Midrange that modern records rarely even BEGIN to reproduce. Folks, that sound is gone and it sure isn't showing signs of coming back. If you love hearing INTO a recording, actually being able to "see" the performers, and feeling as if you are sitting live in the audience, these are the records for you. It's what vintage all analog recordings are known for -- this sound. If you exclusively play modern repressings of vintage recordings, I can say without fear of contradiction that you have never heard this kind of sound on vinyl.
