Responding to Emergencies

This First Aid: Responding to Emergencies class is a comprehensive training that goes above your typical First Aid class. The RTE course is perfect for the following audience: Security Guards Healthcare Workers in an office setting (i.e, dental, chiropractic, optometry, etc.) Hospice Caregivers Camp Counselors and more, particularly those whose role or job might put them on the scene of an emergency first.  Participants will learn Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, along with disaster preparedness, how to safely and effectively manage emergency response, how to coordinate medical and rescue efforts and transfer of care with professional first responders, how to activate and navigate your facility's emergency action plan (EAP), how to guide a streamlined and organized response towards themselves and others during an emergency response, and more.
