Exclusive Bracelets from Ghana

Explore these beautiful bracelets handmade from Ghana. Elastic band fits most wrists. No two bracelets are alike and cannot be specified. Most of the glass beads were made by the people of Krobo Mountain in Ghana, West Africa. Many designs of Krobo beads are patterned to resemble old Venetian fancy trade beads. They are made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then poured into molds in order to create beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water which is applied by hand using a thin wooden stalk.
