Surgeon / Caduceus Ball Point Twist Pen

Real surgical scalpels #11 and or #15 blades are adhered to hand painted brass tubes.  A surgical needle is bent and applied onto the tube and the suture material is then carefully wrapped around the tube and blades.  The entire assembly is then placed into a mold and over three days a non-yellowing acrylic is poured. Once the acrylic has hardened. the assembly is removed from the mold and placed on a lathe, turned, polished and the matched with the pen parts.  The finished pen is placed into a caduceus engraved cherry box.  The pen utilizes a "Parker Style" refill which is readily available at any stationary store or is available in the Pens Accessories & Supplies section of this website. The pen is well balanced in your hand for an enjoyable writing experience!
