Made of polyvinyl chloride, it fits inside the channel and connects channel sections, bottom and side outlets, elbows, tees, and cleanout parts to build your custom drain system. Channel drains, also known as trench drains, are long, narrow drains that capture rainfall and runoff from surrounding surfaces. Water is directed to drain pipes, which carry the water downstream to discharge with a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. Micro Channel Drains are ideal for light flows from pool and spa decks, concrete and paver patios, and walkways to prevent mildew growth, concrete staining, and costly structural damage.
