Vermont - Natural Agate and Black Spinel Long Necklace
Vivi's Notes: I spent two years living in Hanover, New Hampshire. In the fall, my classmates would drive me to explore Vermont. The natural beauty of Vermont is breathtaking and for me - a long-time big city resident, it also reveals a way of life defined by unhurried rhythms, open-minded culture, and a dynamic spirit. After studying gemology for several years, I surprisingly discovered that there is one type of natural Agates - the Alashan agate - that resembles so much the state of Vermont, not only in their colorfulness, but also in theirĀ roughness and spiritual carriage. The Alashan Agate is one variety of Agates native to the Gobi desert located in Mongolia and Inner Mongolia. It is known for its spray of natural colors, unique pattern and candy-like cores. Agate itself is a good gemstone for balancing mind and body and expels negative energy.
