After children have seen the Tree of Life chart, they are ready to look at the plant kingdom in more depth. This plant kingdom chart follows the branches on the Tree of Life, the currently accepted classification. First, the plants are categorized as either bryophytes or vascular plants. Then the vascular plants are divided into lycophytes or euphyllophytes. The latter category holds the fern clade and the seed plants. Seed plants are divided into  gymnosperms and angiosperms (flowering plants). The main lineages of flowering plants, monocots and eudicots, are shown. Contents of the full set: The chart measures 17" x 26.5" and is printed on recyclable plastic paper. It is easy to roll and store, and the plastic is very durable. It doesn't need to be laminated.
