Philco 37-630T Tabletop (1937)

Highly collectable 1937 Art Deco radio 37-630T. This model first appeared in 1936 and sold for USE $63.  Philco's 1937 630 series had two distinct models with different cabinet styles   Rate - Only 13,689 of these units made Art Deco Highly collectable tabletop version 6 Tubes 3 watt output chassis Speaker pattern resembling a small Greek 'sigma" Glow Beam Indicator Shadow Meter Superhet with RF-stage; ZF/IF 470 kHz; 2 AF stage(s) Broadcast plus 2 Short Wave bands   It has had a complete electronics tune up with new capacitors; tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed.The dial belts are new for smooth motor operation and tuning. The chassis is clean and rust fee. The radio has very nice reception with no hum   Pick-up only on this radio.
