It is located in Castelnuovo Abbot, in the town of Montalcino just 500 meters from the famous Abbey of St Antimo. The vineyard's location is considered one of the best for Sangiovese and allows the natural elements to produce wines of unparalleled quality.  Established in 2005, Belpoggio is quickly becoming one of the best Brunello producers in all of Italy! The vineyard has a southwest exposure. After harvest, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation for 15 to 18 days, is aged in 60-gallon oak casks for 24 to 36 months, and finally, the flavors are allowed to marry in bottle for 6 to 9 months before leaving the winery.
