Free Shipping on 6 or More Bottles About the Wine Tenimenti Angelini, (also known as Angelini Wines & Estates) is a very important wine producer that owns several recognized estates throughout central and northern Italy, including Bertani in Veneto, Val di Suga in Montalcino, Tenuta Trerose in Montepulciano, Tenuta Puiatti in Friuli, and Tenuta San Leonino in Castellina in Chianti. The company's history began in the Marche region, where Francesco Angelini, a pharmaceutical industrialist bought Fazi Battaglia, (a local wine producer that was famous for its Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico wine) in 1949. The estate has a total of six wineries and owns 1100 acres of vineyards, producing approximately 1.5 million bottles of wine each year. The family also owns pharmaceuticals, skin care, perfumery, and consumer goods. San Leonino is a historical estate
