The Franke Shiner Streamer is a long-time favorite streamer pattern from the Northeast US. It is a classic bucktail streamer that darts and swims like a frantic minnow when fished on an aggressive strip retrieve. It is a great imitator of many minnows and a local favorite fly for Ross Lake in Washington for imitating redside shiners. Fish the Franke Shiner Streamer for trout in rivers or lakes and give it a shot for matching small shad for crappie and bass. Tied on a size 6 hook. Total fly length of approximately 1.75-inches.
