Description The PTO Align™ spanner wrench is designed to assist the alignment and rotation of most PTO implement shafts to tractors when connecting the driveline using the PTO Link® System. Because some tractors do not “freewheel” at the tractor’s PTO, in these cases, the alignment tool helps to leverage the implements that need the extra ‘encouragement’ to rotate for alignment, connection, or disconnection of some challenging implements (i.e., Flex-wing, flail, finish mowers, etc.). NOTICE: The PTO Align™ Spanner Wrench is compatible with all PTO Link® SD, HD & most Compact* Systems. *When using the PTO Link® Compact System, the wrench is only compatible with the latest Implement Coupler featuring the black-and-white label as shown in the photo gallery. Dimensions: 12.375″ (L) x 2.5″ (W) x 0.25″ (D) Weight: 13.8 oz Patent Pending Another helpful compatible tool for connecting the PTO is the PTO Sling™, which lifts and supports any heavy implement shaft while coupling the shaft to the tractor’s PTO spline. *NOTICE: The PTO Align™ spanner wrench is compatible with the PTO Link® HD System ONLY Product Features The PTO Align™ spanner wrench is made of high quality forged steel.  It can be used as a leverage tool for rotating the PTO shaft with or without the PTO Link® system in place.  The wrench is typically placed onto the splines in the space between the end of the implement female receiver of the driveline and the installed PTO Link® coupler where the splines are visible. If the tractor spline has the PTO Link® Tractor (Female) Coupler already installed, the tractor side coupler can be turned by hand in most cases without getting grease on your hands.  Rotation of the implement side is where the PTO Align™ Wrench really shines…whenever that extra leverage is needed. Safety As an important safety precaution, be sure to turn OFF the tractor’s engine during the use of this tool, and do NOT attempt to use the tool with any parts of the PTO or driveline that may be rotating.  Do not wear any loose clothing that could become entangled and pulled into the machine. PTO safety is extremely important, and every precaution should be taken.
