Golden Spider Lily Art on Canvas in a Yellow Bijou Frame. The Spider Lily genus is made up of 13–20 different species that are native to China, Japan, the southern and northern parts of Korea and it was later introduced in North Carolina, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. The flower stalk can be anywhere from 30-70 cm tall with a terminal umbel blooming from four to eight flowers which could be white, yellow, orange and red. They are locally naturalized in southeastern United States where people often call them "hurricane flowers" because their blooming period coincides with hurricane season.
