All 6-Speed Volkswagen Shift Knobs are designed to replace the oem shift knob. FITMENT: Select 12x1.5mm threaded or threadless adaptor. Volkswagen 1999+ MK4, MK5, MK6, MK7, MK8 requires threadless adaptor.  If you do not have a manual MK4-MK8 Volkswagen, please verify your fitment before selecting. Heavy-weight shift knobs allow for smooth and effortless shifting. Each knob is CNC machined, properly cleaned, and powdercoated for a durable finish.
