Some say these shrimps are better algae eater than Amanos and can eat some variety of algae Amanos don't touch. Red Nose Shrimps displays a nice yellow/red stripe though its body and nose making them unique.Just like Amanos, Red Nose Shrimps are excellent climbers and jumpers so a lid or lower water level is recommended. This shrimp is easy to care for as they require remineralized RO water or tap. If you are using tap, keep in mind to check for any harmful metals or chemicals in the water as all tap water is different and some aren't safe to shrimps.
