Vintage/Antique Amberina Hand Blown Tall 48-Ounce Amberina Art Glass Pitcher with Ice Lip.

Add some gold to molten glass and you are left with amber. Reheat just the top part and the gold morphs the amber into a ruby red that will stunningly merge into the lower amber base. The end result is known as amberina glass. This gorgeous sleek tall pitcher is both blown and molded, which means the glass was first blown then pressed into a mold. This is evident by bubbles and two filaments that are embedded in the glass, along with two mold lines at the sides.  A stylish applied blown curved handle and an ice lip add the finishing touches to this optic art glass beauty. Origin: Unknown; Pre-owned. Dimensions: 10 3/8"H x 5 5/8"W (spout to opening edge) Condition: Good. There are no chips but minor scuff marks to the base and handle, along light surface scratches to the interior, possibly from prior stirring use.
