Lusterware Moriage Japanese Blue/Peach Floral Porcelain Teapot and Creamer Set c.1940-1952

Icons of a creative art long gone by. From the Gifu Prefecture in the Chubu region of central Japan, this beautifully crafted, hand painted ornate teapot and creamer set of blue/lavender and peach lusterware glaze combines with raised enamel detail and gold hammer-like accents.  Red, green, and yellow leaves, accented by raised red and gold trim, white enameled dots and a intricately spaced gold dotted rims and spout band together before a mesmerizing metallic lusterware glaze for a distinct presentation.
