Shafford Japan Green/Gold/ and Floral Hand Decorated Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer Set

Deep green and bright white set the stage for a robust display of colorful flowers and decorative gold flakes. Brightly gilded at the base and handle this lively vintage Shafford pair will stand out in your teacup collection. This set is marked with crest foil labels with the wording "Styled by Shafford, Japan". The saucer has an imprint which appears to be "93" within a circle. There is some age wear (but no loss), to the gilt on the handle. The area where the handle meets the cup bowl is missing a very small application of gilt from manufacturing. There is an un-glazed ring around the cup's rim edge. Because it is straight and even it may have been an intentional detail. Two very, very faint light yellow dots are noted to the right of the inside bouquet. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing to this lovely set. The
