Tuscan Pink Bird-of-Paradise Fine English Bone China c. 1947-1966

This hand painted Tuscan English bone china design details a pair of boldly colored Bird-of-Paradise, their green, red, blue and yellow figures gracefully flying amid the splendor of pink. Artwork displaying a bouquet of blooming flowers and vine, mainly set upon a tan planter is bordered by a pink criss-cross and floral-panelled edge, brightly trimmed in gold. Romantic and certainly eye-catching. Origin: England; pre-owned Dimensions:   Cup-2 1/4H x 3 3/4"W opening                        Saucer- 5 1/2"W Condition: Good. Light pink paint smudges (under the flying bird and past the edge of one pink flower), some decal break/misalignment and hand painting -paint and gold trim-imperfections, all from manufacturing is noted. While it may add a charming personal artist's touch for some, others may feel otherwise, so please examine the photos. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing.
