The inhabitants of Oman were among the earliest people in the world to practice the art of smelting, and copper work laid the foundation for all subsequent forms of metallurgy. This copper vessel is handcrafted in Bhala from local Omani copper mined in Sohar. Traditionally used for storage of luban (frankincense) and bhakoor, it is also suitable for the storage of herbs, woods, resins, and other precious items.This is a handmade item therefore each piece is unique, with sizes varying ever so slightly. Crafted from one hundred percent Omani copper in the Sultanate of Oman.To care for this item please wipe clean with a warm damp cloth, gentle soap optional.
