Product Description: 2xYT Broth is a liquid nutrient medium optimized for the high-density growth of E. coli and the efficient propagation of filamentous bacteriophages such as M13. This medium is an enhanced version of traditional YT, providing a richer formulation that supports vigorous bacterial cultures essential for phage display, plasmid production, and other molecular biology applications. Unlike 2xYT Agar or 2xYT Top Agar, this broth contains no agar, making it ideal for suspension cultures where cells and phages grow in a well-mixed liquid environment.
