She received the certificate in Applied Arts from The Fiber Craft Studio in New York and a masters in education from Antioch University New England. Before becoming a full-time artist, Elizabeth worked as a freelance illustrator, a buyer in the interior and furniture design field and a teacher in Waldorf, public and independent schools.
