From the estate of Renato Vacca -- the family that founded famed co-op Produttori del Barbaresco in 1958. Theirs is a lithe and quite pretty Barbaresco showing very well right now, with extra intensity in terms of its aromas - wild rose, lilac and cherry - and a good dose of crushed mineral, smoke and spice alongside fine-grained tannins.
