Many acorns will be stored whole. Some will be gathered, dried, cracked, peeled, ground, soaked, rinsed, dried, and ground again – all in the interest of creating a versatile flour. Warm, nourishing brownies will be such a treat as the evenings grow shorter and cooler. You'll receive about a cup of acorn flour brownie mix, enough to make four mug cakes. This makes a tasty, chocolatey treat with a little bit of nuttiness similar to hazelnuts.
