Glass Instrument - Hand Boiler
A workbench in the corner holds a miniature distillery, some kind of steam-powered clock, and all kinds of blown-glass vessels. Your host has been studying the workings of vapor pressure: clouds, rain, and electrical storms. She shows you a delicate instrument and instructs you to cup its liquid-filled chamber in your hands for a few moments. Do not squeeze your delicate glass "bubbler"; it is activated by the warmth of your hands. Clasp the bottom bulb gently in your warm hands and watch the colored liquid bubble to the top. You can also reverse its flow by holding the top. Your liquid-filled glass sculpture is about 7.5 inches tall. Colors and patterns vary. The Glass Instrument was featured in the Swamp Box (May 2025). Photo props are not included.
