Pineapple guavas, also known as feijoa, are one of the last fruit delights of the season at our farm. These small green fruits taste like pineapple and guava but are unrelated to either one. The distinctly tropical flavored fruits also have flavors of vanilla, coconut and a hint of passion fruit. They are originally from south and central America, but also grown well in our California coastal environment.To enjoy your fruits, simply cut them in half and scoop out the soft custard-like insides with a spoon. 1 pound $4
