Joan Rivers Pastel Rhinestone Brooch - Published Book Piece

Joan Rivers "Lovers Knot" brooch with pastel Swarovski crystals, and a published book piece. Perfect accessory for Spring and Summer with it's pretty Easter egg colors, and intense sparkle. This brooch was listed as one of Joan's favorites on pg 103 of the 1995 book "Jewelry by Joan Rivers." It is also referenced on pg 25 as a Victorian symbol of love, aka the love knot. The 'JR' mark was used on her earlier pieces, where space for the maker's mark was limited.  1 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" long. We clean, inspect and return vintage treasures to their best possible condition. Decades of old makeup, dirt and dust are removed and pieces receive a light polish. This process takes many attempts and sometimes hours of work. This is in stark contrast to most sellers.
