Previously identified as Devonian hexagonaria, this fossil is very similar to another coral genus, Michigan's beloved "Petoskey Stone". This beautiful colony of rugose coral has very well preserved coralite and septa. Left in it's rugged state, it is a wonderful organic piece of prehistoric life! Item: Actinocyathus Age: Late Carboniferous (320 myo) Size: 5" Diameter Location: Morocco More Info: Actinocyathus
