This amaro from Baltimore brings together Italian tradition and Szechuan inspired flavor for a delightful take on the category. Cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon (plenty of it here), and ginger all dance on the palate, before fading into a lightly fruity finish, which finds notes of strawberry alongside some milk chocolate and rose petal. The szechuan spice is present on the finish, but very light; just a small wave of heat to wrap things up. Bottled at 35% abv.
