This lovely piece of children's art is from an original page of the 1929 edition of "A Child's Garden of Verses" written by Robert Lewis Stevenson, illustrated by Eul Alie. When we got this amazing book home, we were so disappointed when the binding fell apart in our hands. But many of the pages were in like-new condition so we knew we needed to save them. We call this Found Art -- found art repurposed with custom matting to fit standard size frames.Here, we've taken this black and white illustration "Girl at Window" straight from the book and double-matted it with white and blue acid free mat and backing board to fit an 8"x10" standard frame of your choice.We have a matching page from the same book - Girl on Swing.
