Patrick Ewing played the majority of his career with the New York Knicks, becoming the franchise's all-time leading scorer and one of its most beloved players. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star and a member of the All-NBA Team seven times. Ewing led the Knicks to multiple playoff appearances, including an NBA Finals appearance in 1994 when they lost to the Houston Rockets. Known for his defensive prowess and scoring ability, Ewing was a dominant force in the paint. He averaged a double-double in points and rebounds for much of his career. After leaving the Knicks, Ewing played for the Seattle SuperSonics and the Orlando Magic before retiring in 2002. Patrick Ewing was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.
