A Herculean knot twisted into a tapered band of solid silver or yellow gold with a weathered finish. Inspired by examples of rings from Classical Antiquity (~800BC to 500AD). Named for Valeria Messalina, third wife of Emperor Claudius of Rome. Executed for her plot to assassinate her husband, the senate went a step further and proclaimed her Damnatio Memoriae.  In spite of all attempts to strike her name from Roman history, her reputation as a ruthless schemer and insatiable deviant is still very well known. Details: Band thickens from 1.8 mm at the shoulders to 2.7 mm at the bottom of the shank. Available in sizes 3-12
