Goose Eggs

Grade A, Extra Large Eggs Sold by the half dozen Goose eggs are the equivalent of about three chicken eggs. Their larger size allows for more protein, fat and calories, as well as a richer flavor than chicken eggs.  Though a great substitute for baking, the larger yolk may cause baked goods to be more dense than with chicken or duck eggs and other ingredients may need to be adjusted.  Our eggs are gathered daily, candled for freshness and quality, and kept unwashed in the refrigerator. You will receive eggs gathered within the week of ordering, marked with the date they were gathered and stored, and washed before delivery. Eggs are available first come, first served, and only available for local pick up or in-town delivery.  **To prevent illness from bacteria keep eggs refrigerated, cook eggs until yokes are firm, and cook foods containing eggs thoroughly.
